61-Key Compact Gaming Keyboard

The CACKBIRD 60% mechanical keyboard uses a 61-key layout that removes the number pad, function row and navigation cluster to free desk space for mouse movement. It is built for gamers, writers and programmers who want a portable board with tactile clicky switches. The wired USB connection works with PC, Mac and Xbox without extra drivers.

Plug-and-Play With Detachable Cable

Installation is instant: connect the supplied Type-C cable to any USB port and the keyboard is recognised immediately. No software is required for basic lighting or key functions. The cable detaches on the right side for safer packing, though the board is not hot-swappable so the factory-fitted 2nd Gen Akko Blue switches cannot be changed without soldering.

Clicky Blue Switch Feel

The single specification that decides fit is the 2nd Gen Akko Blue switch, which delivers an audible click and tactile bump on every keystroke. If you need silent linear action or a softer tactile event, this board will not suit you. Double-shot ABS keycaps and 18 RGB backlight modes with five brightness levels complete the feature set.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 2nd Gen Akko Blue switches are registering every keystroke after I plug in the USB-C cable?

The keyboard uses a wired USB connection so each press of the 61 keys sends an immediate signal; test by typing in any text field and verify the click sound and on-screen characters match.

Which accessories are included in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The package contains the 60% keyboard, a detachable Type-C cable and a keycap puller; no mouse, palm rest or additional switches are supplied.

Should I choose the 61-key compact version or a larger layout for FPS gaming and travel?

The 61-key 60% layout frees desk space for mouse movement and measures 12.2 in × 5.43 in × 1.57 in, making it easy to pack in a backpack for trips.
