Caddy FB812M Conduit Hanger

The Caddy FB812M is a conduit hanger made from spring steel for electrical installations. It supports nominal conduit or pipe sizes of 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch. The electrogalvanized finish provides corrosion resistance for indoor use. It is designed for use with ENT, EMT, and Rigid conduit types.

Anti-Rattle Spring Steel Design

The spring steel construction delivers an anti-rattle feature that reduces vibration and noise in conduit runs. This hanger secures the conduit firmly without the movement that causes rattling in standard hangers. It is not suited for installations requiring plastic or non-metallic hangers. Buyers needing larger conduit sizes or different mounting styles should verify compatibility before purchase.

Questions about this item

How does the 812 model's anti-rattle feature work once it is installed on a conduit?

The spring-steel construction applies constant tension against the conduit, damping vibration and preventing the rattling noise that occurs when pipe expands, contracts or carries fluid.

What conduit types does the electrogalvanised spring-steel hanger accept, and what limits its use?

It fits 1/2 in and 3/4 in ENT, EMT and rigid conduit; the electrogalvanised finish limits it to dry indoor locations.
