Secures 3-inch EMT conduit to 1 5/8-inch strut channels with a 50 lb load capacity
This one-piece steel clamp secures 3-inch EMT conduit, MC/AC cables or similar raceways to standard 1 5/8-inch strut channels. The electroplated silver finish resists corrosion in indoor and sheltered outdoor installations. It is suited for electrical contractors and maintenance crews who need a UL-listed fastening method with a 50 lb load rating.
The all-steel body and silver electroplated coating provide mechanical strength without adding bulk, keeping the assembly weight at 0.31 lb. Because the clamp is a single piece, there are no loose hardware items to drop during overhead work, and the smooth finish avoids cable jacket damage during cable pulls.
Supplied hardware comprises a bolt and saddle, so the clamp can be installed immediately without sourcing separate fasteners. The cable range of 2.720 in to 3.500 in accommodates variations in conduit diameter, and the UL listing confirms compliance for the stated load capacity.

Place the saddle around the conduit, set the assembly into the strut channel, then insert and tighten the included bolt; the step often missed is confirming the conduit diameter falls within the 2.720 in to 3.500 in cable range before tightening.
Inspect the electroplated steel finish periodically for corrosion or wear; replace the clamp if the saddle deforms, the bolt threads strip, or the finish deteriorates enough to reduce the 50 lb load capacity.
The 50 lb load capacity is the primary limit; exceeding it risks bolt failure or saddle distortion before any other factor becomes critical.
