4000 W 240 V Recessed Heater

The Cadet CST402 is a commercial-grade electric wall-mount heater delivering 4000 watts at 240 V AC. It mounts recessed or surface for flexible installation in residential or light-commercial spaces. The powder-coated black metal grille resists corrosion while blending with modern interiors. A fast-heating coil element provides rapid warmth on demand.

Upgrade From Portable Or Baseboard Units

This fixed-mount heater replaces plug-in portables or older baseboard models that occupy floor space and lack a finished appearance. The 13 648 BtuH output suits larger rooms where supplemental heat is insufficient. The jump is worth it when a permanent, hard-wired solution with a clean grille line is required. It draws 16.7 amps on a single-phase 60 Hz circuit.

Fits Standard Wall Openings

The unit requires a wall opening 16-19/64 inches wide, 10 inches high and 4 inches deep. Housing dimensions are 14 1/2 inches wide, 10 inches high and 4 inches deep, while the grille measures 16 1/4 inches wide, 12 inches high and 1 inch deep. Surface or recessed mounting frees floor area and eliminates cord clutter. Installation demands a dedicated 240 V supply and appropriate breaker capacity.
