Automatic 12V fan governor for PC cases
The CAFELE JCF1201 adjusts fan speed automatically based on ambient temperature, removing the need for manual control. It suits builders who want a simple, hands-free way to keep case fans quiet at low loads and ramp them up only when heat rises. The board accepts two, three or four-wire 12V fans, making it compatible with most standard case fans. Buyers who need software control, multiple sensor zones or PWM curve editing will not find those features here.
Dual-mode temperature ranges with 1A current limit
Fixed mode starts the fan at 30 degrees, increases speed linearly to full at 50 degrees and stops the fan below the start threshold to save power and eliminate noise. Adjustable mode lets the user set the start point between 15 and 50 degrees, with full speed reached 20 degrees higher, up to a 70 degree ceiling. The probe withstands 110 degrees maximum, while the controller itself is rated for 1A continuous current. Systems drawing more than 1A per fan header or requiring tighter thermal hysteresis will exceed the device's headroom.
Single 325mm probe with 45x25x30mm board
A single temperature sensor on a 325mm lead provides the only thermal input, so the entire case reacts to one measurement point. The compact 45 by 25 by 30 millimetre PCB fits in tight corners behind motherboard trays or drive cages. Anti-reverse power protection prevents damage if the 12V supply is connected backwards. Builders needing per-component monitoring, multiple independent fan channels or a shorter sensor cable must look elsewhere.

Questions about this item
Will the JCF1201 work with my existing 3-wire 12V case fan?
Yes, it fits 2, 3 and 4-wire 12V fans and provides automatic stepless speed control based on the sensor reading.
How do I verify the controller is running in fixed mode after I install it?
In fixed mode the fan starts at 30 degrees, increases linearly to full speed at 50 degrees and stops below the start temperature.
Does the package include the temperature probe or must I buy it separately?
The board comes with a single temperature sensor on a 325mm probe; no extra sensor purchase is needed.
