CAFELE PC Chassis Fan Hub 4D SATA 12V
A PC chassis fan hub with SATA power and PWM control for 12 V 3-pin or 4-pin fans, 100% brand new
- Product typeCase Fan
- Expands fan connectivity with a 4D PWM hub and SATA power input
- Dedicated red CPU-fan header provides speed measurement while black headers run standard PWM fans
- Powers fans directly from the PSU via SATA to reduce motherboard load
- Supports both 12 V 3-pin and 4-pin fans; 3-pin fans run at full speed
- Adhesive backing and a screw hole allow secure mounting anywhere in the case
Fan hub for crowded motherboards
The CAFELE PC Chassis Fan Hub adds four PWM fan headers through a single motherboard connection. It draws power directly from a SATA connector to reduce load on the board. Builders with limited fan headers can connect multiple 12V 3-pin or 4-pin fans without overcrowding the CPU fan socket.
Dual-colour headers split control and monitoring
A red header provides a dedicated CPU fan connection with speed measurement, while three black headers handle standard PWM fans without RPM reporting. An adhesive backing and a screw hole let you secure the PCB flat inside the case. The package includes the hub and one cable for the motherboard PWM link.
SATA power keeps the motherboard unloaded
Because the hub pulls 12V from the power supply via SATA, the motherboard only carries the control signal. Buyers who need every connected fan to report its speed should note that only the red header returns a tachometer signal.

Questions about this item
Does the hub need any maintenance or fan-header replacements over time?
The unit has no moving parts and uses solid SATA power plus a 4-pin PWM link to the motherboard, so no periodic maintenance or header swaps are required.
What is the first limit reached when all connected fans run continuously?
The motherboard CPU-fan header supplies the PWM signal, so its current rating becomes the practical ceiling before the hub itself saturates.
How much extra noise or heat does the hub add when it powers fans all day?
The hub draws power directly from the SATA connector, removing load from the motherboard and adding no audible noise or measurable heat of its own.
