Transparent Conduit Body Cover

The CALBRITE S60500CG00 is a transparent cover designed for Form 8 conduit bodies. It provides a screw-in closure for conduit access fittings and includes the necessary screws and gasket for installation.

Suited for Electrical Installations

This cover suits electricians and installers completing Form 8 conduit body assemblies in standard locations. It is not rated for hazardous environments, so buyers needing explosion-proof or classified-location enclosures should look at something else.

Fits 1/2 Inch Hub with Set Screws

The cover connects via set screw to a 1/2 in. hub on the conduit body. Its stainless steel construction with a polished finish frees the installer from sourcing separate hardware, as screws and gasket are supplied in the package.

Questions about this item

What conduit body size must I already have for this cover to fit?

This cover fits a Form 8 conduit body with a 1/2 in. hub, so the existing fitting must match that specification.

Can I use this stainless-steel cover on an older conduit body that has a different thread type?

The cover uses a set-screw connection, so it will secure to any compatible Form 8 body regardless of the original thread style.

How can I confirm the gasket is sealing properly after I tighten the included screws?

With the screws fastened and the polished stainless surface seated evenly, the transparent material lets you visually inspect the gasket contact all around.
