Product Identity

The CALBRITE S60700CH00 is a 3/4 inch threaded chase nipple made from 316 stainless steel. It connects threaded metallic conduit such as RMC or IMC in audio and video installations. The polished finish resists corrosion for indoor or outdoor use.

Build and Connectors

The NPT thread and 316 stainless construction provide a secure, durable connection for conduit runs. At 1 1/16 inches long and 1 7/16 inches wide with an inside diameter of 0.83 inches, it fits standard trade size 3/4 inch conduit. UL listed for safety compliance.

Compatibility Check

Verify your conduit is RMC or IMC with a 3/4 inch trade size and NPT threading before ordering. This nipple does not suit non-threaded or differently sized conduit systems. Ensure the 0.83 inch inside diameter matches your cable fill requirements.

Questions about this item

What does the NPT 3/4-14 thread standard limit in practice?

The NPT 3/4-14 thread matches RMC and IMC conduit with a 3/4 in trade size and caps the connection at the 0.83 in inside diameter of this nipple.

What physical dimensions must the mounting surface accommodate?

The nipple has an overall length of 1 1/16 in and an overall width of 1 7/16 in, so the enclosure or junction box needs clearance for those dimensions.

How is this chase nipple installed, and what step is often missed?

Thread the nipple into the threaded conduit or fitting until tight; the step often missed is applying PTFE tape or thread sealant on the NPT threads to ensure a watertight seal for outdoor use.
