Replacement battery for Amazon speaker

This lithium-ion cell replaces the original pack in Amazon PW3840 and PW3840KL tap speakers. It matches part numbers 58-000138 and R-41019534 for direct compatibility. The 3.35 Ah capacity restores factory runtime for portable use.

Thermal behaviour and power profile

The 3.7 V cell delivers 12.40 Wh of energy with a 3350 mAh rating. Lithium-ion chemistry keeps self-discharge low during storage. Normal charging and discharging stay within safe temperature limits without active cooling.

Mechanical fit and daily handling

The blue housing measures 69.20 x 18.50 x 18.50 mm to slide into the speaker’s battery bay. OEM-compatible contacts align with the device terminals for a secure connection. Buyers needing a different voltage or form factor should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the DS-CS-AMP840XL battery in my AMAZON PW3840 speaker, and what step is often missed?

Slide the battery into the compartment until the contacts align with the 3.7 V terminals; the step often missed is pressing firmly until the latch clicks to secure the 69.20 x 18.50 x 18.50 mm pack.

What maintenance or replacement will the DS-CS-AMP840XL need over time?

As a Li-ion 3.35 Ah cell, it will gradually hold less charge; plan to replace it once runtime drops below your needs, typically after several hundred full cycles.

What limit appears first during continuous high-volume playback on the DS-CS-AMP840XL?

The 12.40 Wh capacity is the first limit; sustained high drain will deplete the 3350 mAh cells faster than the speaker’s thermal protection engages.
