Compatible GPS Battery Pack

This Ni-MH battery pack replaces the original power source for Acterna, Anritsu, EXFO, Keysight and MTS test instruments. It fits the Lite3000, FTB-100, FTB-400, MTS-5000, MTS-5100e, OTDR E6000, N9330B and N9340B analysers. The 10.8 V 4000 mAh cell delivers 43.20 Wh of capacity in a black housing.

Direct OEM Replacement

The pack matches part numbers 72R6893, N9330B-BAT, N9330B-BCG, NF2040AG24, NI1030, NI1030U, RWS35 and TY3CGR18650D-2 without adapters or firmware updates. Ni-MH chemistry means no memory-effect management and safe air transport. Voltage and connector geometry are identical to the factory unit so the host device recognises it immediately.

Simple Field Swap

The brick measures 215.25 x 51.87 x 19.42 mm and slides into the existing battery bay with a single latch. No tools, soldering or configuration are required. The only common issue is inserting the pack upside-down; the keyed connector prevents electrical damage but the unit will not seat fully until oriented correctly.

Questions about this item

How often will the 4 Ah Ni-MH cells need replacing?

Expect several hundred charge cycles before capacity drops noticeably; replace when run-time no longer meets field-test requirements.

What limits continuous operation on a full charge?

The 43.20 Wh capacity sets the runtime ceiling; sustained transmit or backlight use will hit that limit first.

Does the pack run hot or draw extra power during all-day use?

Ni-MH chemistry stays cool under normal load; no active cooling is needed and self-discharge is low when idle.
