Cameron & Co DS-CS-BAF661TW Li-ion Battery

This Cameron & Co DS-CS-BAF661TW is a 3.7V 900mAh lithium-ion battery built for two-way radio users who need a direct replacement for the original BL-1 or BP-011 pack. It fits Retevis H777 and Baofeng BF-666S, BF-777S and BF-888S handhelds, delivering 3.33Wh of capacity in a black casing that measures 85.00 x 52.95 x 14.54mm. The cell is brand new and 100% OEM compatible, so it slots straight into the radio’s battery compartment without modification.

Replaces BL-1 and BP-011 packs

The battery replaces the factory BL-1 and BP-011 packs used in the listed Retevis and Baofeng models. Swapping to this unit is worth it when the original cell no longer holds a full day’s charge or shows physical swelling. It restores the radio to its intended run-time without needing a different charger or firmware update, making the change a simple drop-in procedure for anyone maintaining a fleet of compatible handsets.

Steady output during extended transmit cycles

Under sustained load the lithium-ion chemistry maintains a stable voltage through repeated push-to-talk cycles, avoiding the voltage sag common in aged nickel-based packs. The 900mAh capacity supports typical duty cycles across a full shift, and the cell’s internal resistance stays low enough to keep the radio’s transmit power consistent from the first call to the last. Heat build-up remains modest thanks to the compact 14.54mm profile, which allows the radio’s own casing to dissipate warmth during prolonged use.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the DS-CS-BAF661TW so I can confirm it fits my radio's battery compartment?

The pack measures 85.00 x 52.95 x 14.54 mm; compare those figures to your radio's cavity before ordering.

How do I install the battery without damaging the contacts or latch?

Align the three gold contacts with the radio's terminals, slide the pack straight in until the side latch clicks, and never force it at an angle.

When should I replace this 900mAh Li-ion pack?

Replace it when talk time falls well below a full shift or the radio powers off during transmit, which signals the cell can no longer hold its 3.7V 3.33Wh rating.
