Compatible LG tablets

This lithium-polymer battery replaces the original BL-T14 or EAC62638401 cell in LG G Pad 8.0, G Pad F 8.0, G Pad F7 and G PadF 8.0 tablets. It is built for owners who need a direct drop-in replacement for a worn or swollen pack. Buyers with other LG models or non-LG devices cannot use this part.

Power profile

The cell delivers 3.7 V and 4200 mAh for 15.54 Wh of energy storage. Lithium-polymer chemistry keeps the pack thin at 3.10 mm while maintaining stable output during normal tablet workloads. No active cooling or external circuitry is required beyond the tablet's own management system.

Physical fit

Dimensions are 104.90 x 94.00 x 3.10 mm in a black housing that matches the original form factor. The slim profile ensures the battery seats correctly inside the designated compartment without forcing the chassis or bending connectors.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 104.90 x 94.00 x 3.10 mm battery into the LG G Pad 8.0 and which step is often missed?

Power off the tablet, remove the back cover, disconnect the old pack, connect the new 3.7 V 4200 mAh unit, then reassemble; the step most people skip is reseating the connector firmly so the contacts make full contact.

What maintenance or replacement will the Li-Polymer 15.54 Wh pack need over time?

No scheduled maintenance is required; replace the battery when run-time becomes unacceptably short or the pack swells.

What is the first limit reached during sustained use of the 4.2 Ah cell?

The 3.7 V nominal voltage will sag toward the cut-off threshold, triggering the tablet to shut down before the full 4200 mAh can be delivered.
