Replacement Battery for Bosch 12V Tools

This Cameron & Co DS-CS-BS3455PX is a 12.0V 3000mAh Ni-MH pack built to replace Bosch BAT043, BAT045, BAT046, BAT049, BAT120 and BAT139 cells. It fits drills, drivers and flashlights such as the GSR 12V, GSB 12 and GLI 12V models. The black housing matches the original equipment colour.

Ni-MH Chemistry Limits

Nickel-metal-hydride cells deliver 36.00Wh at 12.0V but self-discharge faster than lithium-ion alternatives. Capacity drops noticeably in freezing conditions and the pack cannot be fast-charged without a compatible Ni-MH charger. Users needing longer shelf life or sub-zero operation should consider a different chemistry.

Straightforward Slide-In Installation

The pack slides into the tool’s battery bay and locks with the original latch; no soldering or adapters are required. The most common issue is dirty contacts on either the tool or the charger, which prevents charging. A quick clean with isopropyl alcohol usually restores reliable operation.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 3 Ah version or a lower-capacity pack for my Bosch 12 V drill?

The 3 Ah rating stores more energy than the original 1.3–2.0 Ah packs, so it runs the tool longer per charge while fitting the same battery bay.

What does the 36 Wh rating mean when I'm actually using the drill?

It delivers roughly 36 watt-hours of usable energy, giving noticeably longer run-time on high-torque tasks compared with the standard 2 Ah pack.

Does the pack use the standard Bosch 12 V slide-on interface?

Yes, it matches the original Bosch 12 V slide-style connection used on the GSR 12 V, GSB 12 V and GLI 12 V series.
