Battery type and voltage

This replacement battery uses nickel-metal hydride chemistry and delivers 24.0 volts with a 3 Ah capacity. It is built to fit the form factor required by the listed Bosch cordless tools. The pack is supplied new and ready for use.

Compatibility and limits

The unit suits owners of Bosch tools that accept the listed part numbers such as 2 607 335 268, 2 607 335 279 or BAT299. It will not work with tools that require a different voltage, a different chemistry such as lithium-ion, or a different physical pack shape. Buyers with those requirements should look elsewhere.

Capacity rating

The 3 Ah rating determines how long the tool can run between charges under the same load. A higher or lower capacity pack would change runtime and may not fit the charger or tool bay. Verify that 3 Ah matches the original specification before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the 132.47 x 83.51 x 134.49 mm case fit my Bosch GBH 24V rotary hammer?

The pack measures 132.47 x 83.51 x 134.49 mm and replaces Bosch part numbers 2 607 335 268, 2 607 335 279 and BAT299, so it slides into the same battery bay as the original.

How do I install the 24.0 V 3 Ah Ni-MH pack without damaging the contacts?

Align the pack’s rails with the tool’s guide slots, press straight in until the latch clicks, and avoid angling the pack — forcing it at an angle is the step that bends the contact pins.

What replacement cells does the 3000 mAh Ni-MH battery need when runtime falls off?

The pack uses ten 1.2 V sub-C Ni-MH cells; when capacity drops, the whole 24.0 V 3000 mAh assembly is swapped as a single unit rather than replacing individual cells.
