Craftsman V20 20.0 V 6 Ah replacement battery

This 20.0 V lithium-ion pack supplies 6 Ah of capacity for Craftsman V20 cordless tools. It fits nailers, blowers, trimmers, saws and drills that share the V20 platform. The cell chemistry is lithium-ion and the housing uses a multicolour finish. The unit is sold new and ready for immediate use.

Thermals and power draw in normal use

Lithium-ion cells run cool during typical fastening or yard-work cycles. No active cooling is required and the pack operates silently. Current delivery matches the demand of brushed or brushless V20 motors without excessive voltage sag. Heat buildup stays low enough for continuous operation in ambient temperatures.

Build fit and system impact

The pack slides onto any tool listed in the V20 compatibility range, freeing the user from a single-brand purchase. It needs a Craftsman V20 charger to replenish the cells. No adapter, cable or firmware update is required. The form factor leaves the tool’s balance and grip unchanged.

Questions about this item

How do I install the DS-CS-CFV200PH battery in my Craftsman V20 axial blower CMCB204, and what step is often missed?

Align the battery rails with the tool's guide slots, push firmly until the latch clicks audibly, then verify the charge indicator lights; the missed step is confirming the click before use.

What maintenance will the DS-CS-CFV200PH lithium-ion 6000mAh pack need over its life?

Store at roughly half charge in a cool dry place, recharge every few months during long idle periods, keep contacts clean, and replace the pack when run-time drops noticeably.

What limit appears first when running the DS-CS-CFV200PH continuously in a V20 brushless weedwacker string trimmer?

The pack's thermal protection will trigger before the 6000mAh capacity is fully depleted, shutting the tool down until the cells cool to a safe temperature.
