Battery for Garmin gWind Wireless Transducer

The Cameron & Co DS-CS-GMW117SL is a replacement battery built for the Garmin gWind Wireless Transducer and compatible wind sensor units. It fits part numbers 010-12117-10, 361-00075-00 and 010-01248-00. The pack uses Ni-MH chemistry and ships new in blue.

Voltage and capacity match the original spec

The cell delivers 2.4V with a rated capacity of 700mAh, giving 1.68W h of energy storage. These figures match the factory specification so the transducer reports wind data without voltage mismatch.

Steady output during long passages

Ni-MH chemistry holds a stable voltage across the discharge curve, so the wireless transducer maintains consistent transmission strength over extended sailing periods rather than fading after a short burst.
