Compatible Hilti power-tool battery

The Cameron & Co DS-CS-HBP720PX is a 24 V nickel-metal-hydride pack rated at 3.3 Ah for Hilti cordless tools. It replaces original BP60 and BP72 cells in the C 7/24, C 7/36, TCU 7/36 and TE 5 A models. The pack is supplied new and ready for immediate use on site.

Fits existing charger and tool interface

The battery slides into the same bay and locks with the original latch, so no adapter or modification is required. It draws charging current through the tool’s standard contacts, freeing the user from hunting for a proprietary cradle. One unit powers the listed drills and drivers without additional wiring.

Ni-MH chemistry runs cool under load

Nickel-metal-hydride construction limits self-heating during extended drilling or driving cycles. The cell layout dissipates heat through the black housing, keeping surface temperature moderate in normal operation. No active cooling is needed, and the pack maintains steady voltage until deep discharge.

Questions about this item

How long does the 3.3 Ah capacity last under continuous heavy load before voltage drops?

The 3.3 Ah Ni-MH pack delivers 79.20 Wh; runtime depends on the tool's current draw, and sustained high-amperage use will deplete it faster than light-duty cycles.

Does the battery get hot or lose power after running all day on a HILTI TE 5 A?

Ni-MH chemistry warms under continuous discharge; the pack has no active cooling, so extended high-load sessions on a TE 5 A will raise internal temperature and reduce available voltage until it cools.

Which HILTI chargers or tools must I already own for this BP72-compatible pack to work?

It fits HILTI models C 7/24, C 7/36, TCU 7/36 and TE 5 A, replacing original part numbers BP60 and BP72; a compatible HILTI charger for 24 V Ni-MH packs is required.
