Ready-to-use replacement

The Cameron & Co DS-CS-HTB122PX is a nickel-metal-hydride pack rated at 12.0 V and 3.3 Ah. It replaces the Hitachi EB12, EB1224, EB12B, EB12G, EB12M, EB12S, FEB12 and FEB12S12 cells used across a long list of cordless tools. Builders who need a different voltage or a lithium chemistry cannot use this pack.

Ni-MH charging profile required

The 3300 mAh capacity delivers 39.6 Wh from a chemistry that self-discharges faster than lithium and needs a charger designed for Ni-MH. Users relying on a lithium charger or expecting months of shelf life without a top-up will find the pack flat when they reach for it.

Hard-shell pack with slide contacts

The black housing measures 65.00 x 65.00 x 120.00 mm and slides onto the tool rails used by the compatible Hitachi models. Technicians who need a stem-mounted battery or a different footprint will find this form factor incompatible with their gear.

Questions about this item

What capacity does this Cameron & Co DS-CS-HTB122PX battery provide?

This pack delivers 12.0 V and 3.3 Ah, giving 39.6 Wh of energy storage for compatible Hitachi tools.

How long will a 3.3 Ah pack run my drill compared with the original 2.0 Ah cell?

The 3.3 Ah rating means roughly 65 % more runtime than a 2.0 Ah battery under the same load, so expect noticeably longer use per charge.

Does the Ni-MH chemistry limit the charge rate or require a specific Hitachi charger?

Ni-MH cells accept standard Hitachi chargers for 12 V packs; they do not need a special charger, but avoid fast-charge modes not rated for Ni-MH.
