Compatible Hitachi power-tool models

This replacement battery fits a wide range of Hitachi cordless tools including the D10 series, DN series and NR90GC nailers. It matches the original EB7, EB7B and EB7S packs used across these devices. The 7.2 V 3.3 Ah Ni-MH cell delivers the same voltage and capacity as the factory unit.

Who should choose this pack

Tradespeople and DIY owners with any of the listed Hitachi models will find a direct, 100 % OEM-compatible fit. Users of other brands, higher-voltage platforms or lithium-ion-only tools cannot use this battery. Buyers who need a different capacity or chemistry should look elsewhere.

Deciding specification: 7.2 V 3.3 Ah Ni-MH

The single figure that confirms compatibility is the 7.2 V 3.3 Ah nickel-metal-hydride rating. If your tool requires this exact voltage and chemistry, the pack will work; if it demands a different voltage or lithium-ion cells, it will not.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the DS-CS-HTB712PX so I can confirm it fits my Hitachi tool?

The pack measures 105.30 x 52.80 x 65.80 mm; compare that cavity size before ordering.

How do I install the DS-CS-HTB712PX in a Hitachi D10DC or EB7B, and what step is often missed?

Slide the pack into the tool’s battery bay until the latch clicks; the missed step is giving the new Ni-MH cells a full 7.2 V charge before first use.

When will the DS-CS-HTB712PX need replacement, and what part number should I reorder?

Replace when run-time falls far below the rated 3.3 Ah; reorder using MPN DS-CS-HTB712PX or the original Hitachi reference 325292.
