Compatible Hitachi 18 V Tools

This Cameron & Co DS-CS-HTB812PW battery fits a wide range of Hitachi cordless models including the DV18DVL, DS18DL and WH18DMR series. It replaces original EB1812S through EB1830HL part numbers with a direct-fit Ni-MH pack. The black housing matches the factory colour scheme.

Sustained Ni-MH Output

The 3000 mAh nickel-metal-hydride chemistry delivers steady current through extended drilling or driving sessions without the voltage sag seen in short bursts. Ni-MH cells tolerate deep discharge cycles better than older chemistries and exhibit no memory effect when topped up regularly. Heat build-up stays moderate during continuous use.

Pre-Purchase Checklist

Verify your tool model appears in the compatibility list — C18DL, DV18DL, DS18DFL, WR18DMR and others are covered. Confirm the original battery voltage is 18.0 V and the physical pack dimensions of 124.64 x 76.85 x 107.03 mm match the tool cavity. Ensure your charger supports Ni-MH chemistry before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the 3000 mAh Ni-MH pack run hot during continuous use on a Hitachi DV18DVL?

Ni-MH chemistry stays cooler than older Ni-Cd packs under load; the 3 Ah capacity spreads current draw so temperature rise remains modest during all-day drilling.

Which Hitachi charger part numbers work with the DS-CS-HTB812PW?

Any Hitachi charger that accepts EB 1812S, EB 1814SL, EB 1820L, EB 1824L, EB 1826HL or EB 1830HL will charge this 18.0 V 3000 mAh battery.

Will the 124.64 x 76.85 x 107.03 mm case fit my older Hitachi DS 18DL drill?

Yes — the dimensions match the original EB 1820L form factor, so it slides into DS 18DL, DS 18DMR, DV 18DL and other listed 18 V tools without modification.
