Direct replacement for IMET crane remotes

This 2.4V 2000mAh Ni-MH pack replaces the AS037 battery used in IMET BE5000, I060-AS037, M550S, Wave L and Wave S crane remotes. It matches the original 53.30 x 39.30 x 20.80 mm form factor and black housing. The cell chemistry is nickel-metal hydride, rated at 4.80 Wh. Supplied new and 100 % OEM compatible.

Steady output during extended crane operation

Nickel-metal hydride chemistry maintains a stable voltage through long shifts without the sharp drop-off seen in short-burst tests. The 2000 mAh capacity supports repeated transmit cycles over hours of continuous use. Self-discharge is low enough to hold charge between daily jobs. No memory-effect management is required.

Limited to devices accepting 2.4 V Ni-MH packs

The pack only fits equipment designed for the AS037 footprint and 2.4 V nominal voltage. It cannot power tools or remotes that require higher voltages or lithium-based chemistries. Charging must use a compatible Ni-MH charger; other charger types will not terminate correctly. Capacity cannot be expanded beyond the single 2000 mAh cell.

Questions about this item

How much heat or power draw should I expect from the 2.4 V 2000 mAh Ni-MH pack during a full day of crane-remote operation?

The pack stores 4.80 Wh; Ni-MH chemistry runs cool under normal loads and self-discharge is low when the remote is idle.

Which specific IMET handsets or part numbers must I already own for this DS-CS-MBE500BL to fit and work?

It replaces AS037 and fits BE5000, I060-AS037, M550S, M550S Wave L and M550S Wave S remotes.

Will the 53.30 × 39.30 × 20.80 mm black casing sit correctly in an older BE5000 battery bay?

Yes — the dimensions match the original AS037 pack, so the latch and contacts align without modification.
