Replacement battery for IMET tools

This Cameron & Co DS-CS-MBE550BL is a new nickel-metal hydride cell rated at 3.6 volts and 2000 milliampere-hours. It replaces IMET part numbers AS060 and AS083 across the BE3600, BE5500 and M550 series including Ares, Thor, Zeus and S variants.

Fits directly into the tool housing

The pack measures 53.24 by 53.03 by 20.88 millimetres and slides into the original battery compartment without adapters. No external charger is required if the tool already supports Ni-MH charging through its dock or lead.

Steady output through a full work cycle

Ni-MH chemistry delivers a consistent 7.20 watt-hours of energy without the sharp voltage drop seen in some alternatives. The cell is not suited for devices that demand lithium-ion voltages or for users who need a higher capacity than 2000 milliampere-hours.

Questions about this item

How long will the 2000 mAh capacity last under continuous high-drain tool use?

The 7.20 Wh rating delivers 2000 mAh at 3.6 V; runtime depends on the tool's current draw, so a 10 A load would last roughly twelve minutes.

Does the Ni-MH pack get hot or lose voltage during all-day operation?

Ni-MH cells warm under sustained load and voltage sags as the pack discharges; allow cooling breaks during extended use.

Which IMET models does this DS-CS-MBE550BL battery fit?

It replaces AS060 and AS083 packs in BE3600, BE5500, M550 Ares, M550 Thor, M550 Zeus, M550S THOR and M550S ZEUS tools.
