6 Ah Li-ion Battery for Milwaukee M18

This 6 Ah lithium-ion battery replaces original Milwaukee packs for the M18 cordless system. It fits a wide range of drills, drivers, saws and outdoor tools listed in the compatibility data. The pack is supplied new and ready for professional or DIY use.

Direct replacement changes downtime

Because the battery matches the original form factor and electrical interface, users can swap packs without adapters or firmware updates. The black housing aligns with Milwaukee tool aesthetics and the lithium chemistry delivers consistent voltage through the discharge cycle.

6 Ah capacity suits extended runs

The 6 Ah rating supports longer operation on high-draw tools such as rotary hammers and circular saws before recharge is needed. Light-duty tasks like drilling pilot holes will see many cycles per charge. Continuous maximum-output applications will deplete the pack more quickly.

Questions about this item

Will the 6 Ah Li-ion cells need replacement after a certain number of charge cycles?

Li-ion cells degrade gradually; expect several hundred full cycles before runtime drops noticeably, then replace the pack when it no longer holds enough charge for your work.

What stops the DS-CS-MKM180PH from running continuously on a high-draw tool like the 2706-20?

The 6 Ah capacity and the tool's current draw set the runtime limit; sustained heavy use will empty the pack before thermal protection activates.

Does the pack get hot or draw extra power when left on a charger all day?

The battery management system stops charging once full, so the pack stays cool and draws only negligible maintenance current.
