Metabo-compatible Ni-MH power tool battery

This 9.6 V nickel-metal hydride pack delivers 3.3 Ah of capacity for Metabo cordless drills and drivers including the BS, BSP, BSZ, SB, SBP, SBT and ULA 9.6 series. It replaces original part numbers 6.31728, 6.31746, 6.31775 and ME-974 with 100 % OEM-compatible fitment. The black housing matches the factory colour scheme.

Steady output during extended drilling tasks

Ni-MH chemistry maintains a consistent voltage plateau through the discharge cycle so torque does not drop off sharply during long holes or repetitive screw-driving. The 31.68 Wh energy rating supports multiple work sessions before recharge. No memory-effect management is required — simply recharge after each shift.

Slide-on pack with rugged black casing

The pack measures 109.04 x 75.30 x 113.50 mm and slides onto the tool’s battery rail with the same latch geometry as the original Metabo units. The housing resists site dust and occasional impacts without cracking. No extra chargers or adapters are needed — it works with the existing Metabo 9.6 V charging system.

Questions about this item

Will this 9.6 V battery work with my existing Metabo charger?

Yes, it replaces Metabo part numbers 6.31728, 6.31746, 6.31775 and ME-974, so the original charger recognises it.
