Purpose-built alarm power

The Cameron & Co DS-CS-PDL100SL is a 6.0 V alkaline cell rated at 5500 mAh. It is intended for Panic Door locks such as the BP6, DL-10, HTL-10 and PG10 models. Installers fitting these specific devices will find a direct replacement.

Sustained delivery

Alkaline chemistry provides a steady voltage curve during the long standby periods typical of door-lock operation. The 33.00 Wh capacity supports extended service intervals before replacement is required. Non-rechargeable construction means the cell is swapped once depleted.

Form-factor constraint

Physical dimensions are 51.60 x 51.60 x 51.00 mm, so the battery fits only compartments designed for this exact footprint. Builders needing a different voltage, a rechargeable pack or a smaller profile must select another part.

Questions about this item

Does the 6.0 V 5500 mAh alkaline cell generate noticeable heat during continuous panic-door operation?

Alkaline chemistry at this capacity runs cool under the low, steady draw of a panic-door lock; no active cooling is needed.

What existing hardware must be present for this DS-CS-PDL100SL to power the lock?

A compatible panic-door mechanism such as the BP6, DL-10, HTL-10 or PG10 that accepts a 6.0 V alkaline pack measuring 51.60 x 51.60 x 51.00 mm.

Will this 33.00 Wh replacement work in an older BP6 unit that previously used the 815407029 or BP-6 part numbers?

Yes — the cell matches the original 6.0 V 5.5 Ah specification and fits the same 51.60 mm cube footprint used by those legacy part numbers.
