Compatible Panasonic Power Tool Battery

It is aimed at professionals and DIY users who need a direct 100 % OEM-compatible replacement for worn or lost original packs.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

The 14.4 V 2000 mAh cell delivers 28.80 Wh of energy with low internal resistance, so it runs cool during typical drilling, sawing or grinding tasks. No fan or active cooling is required and the pack adds no audible noise to the tool's own motor sound.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous high-drain use such as angle grinding or rotary hammering the pack maintains a steady voltage curve without sudden drops. The lithium-ion chemistry resists memory effect and supports repeated deep cycles, making it reliable for all-day job-site work.

Questions about this item

How do I install the DS-CS-PEZ940PW battery into a Panasonic EY7440 cordless drill, and what step is often missed?

Slide the battery onto the tool's mounting rail until the latch clicks securely; the step often missed is confirming the latch is fully engaged before use.

What maintenance or replacement will the DS-CS-PEZ940PW Li-ion 2 Ah battery need over time?

The Li-ion cells will gradually lose capacity after many charge cycles; replacement is needed when run-time drops below useful levels for the 14.4 V tools.

What limit appears first when using the DS-CS-PEZ940PW continuously in a Panasonic EY7840 rotary hammer?

The 2 Ah capacity limits total run-time per charge; sustained high-draw use depletes the 28.80 Wh pack quickly, requiring a recharge.
