Compatible Porter Cable Power Tool Battery

The Cameron & Co DS-CS-PPC120PX is a 12.0V 2Ah lithium-ion replacement for Porter Cable PCL120 and PCL212 series tools. It fits models including PCL120CRC, PCL120DDC-2, PCL120MTC-2 and PCL12BLX. The pack delivers 24.0Wh of energy in a black housing measuring 86.13 x 47.16 x 50.18 mm.

Direct Fit for Existing Tool Platform

This battery slides into the same latch as the original Porter Cable packs, so no adapter or charger change is required. It restores cordless operation to drills, drivers and multi-tools that share the 12V slide-on interface. The OEM-compatible footprint keeps the tool balance and weight distribution unchanged.

Steady Output During Extended Use

Lithium-ion chemistry maintains consistent voltage through the discharge curve, avoiding the voltage sag common in older nickel-based packs under load. The 2000mAh capacity supports prolonged drilling or fastening cycles before recharge. The cell arrangement is built for repeated daily cycles in professional and DIY environments.

Questions about this item

How long will the 2 Ah capacity last under continuous heavy-duty use?

The 2000 mAh cell delivers 24.0 Wh, so runtime depends on the tool’s current draw; higher loads deplete the pack faster.

Does the pack get hot or noisy during all-day operation?

Lithium-ion chemistry runs silently; warmth is normal under load, but the pack has no fan or moving parts to generate noise.

Which Porter Cable tools must I already own for this battery to fit?

It replaces the PCL12BLX pack and fits models including PCL120CRC, PCL120DDC-2, PCL120MTC-2, PCL12C and PCL212IDC-2.
