Direct replacement for Galaxy Tab 8.9

This Cameron & Co DS-CS-SGP730SL battery fits the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 models GT-P7300, GT-P7310 and GT-P7320. It replaces the original SP368487A pack with a 100 % OEM-compatible lithium-polymer unit. The 6.1 Ah cell delivers 22.57 Wh at 3.7 V.

No soldering or extra parts required

The pack slides into the existing battery bay using the original connector and mounting points. No adapters, cables or tools are needed beyond what the tablet already provides. It frees the device from a worn-out or swollen cell.

Low self-discharge chemistry

Lithium-polymer construction holds charge during storage and runs cool under normal tablet loads. The slim 3.76 mm profile matches the factory thickness so the back cover seats flush. No active cooling or ventilation changes are involved.

Questions about this item

How long will the 6.1 Ah capacity last under continuous load before the tablet shuts down?

The 3.7 V 6100 mAh cell stores 22.57 Wh, so run-time depends entirely on the tablet's power draw; heavier workloads deplete it faster.

Does the Li-Polymer pack get hot or swell when the Galaxy Tab 8.9 runs all day?

Normal operation stays within the 3.7 V design limits; excessive heat or swelling would indicate a fault rather than typical behaviour.

Which Samsung Galaxy Tab models must I already own for this battery to fit?

It replaces the SP368487A pack in the GT-P7300, GT-P7310 and GT-P7320 variants of the Galaxy Tab 8.9.
