Direct Replacement Battery

The Cameron & Co DS-CS-TMU01XL is a 3000mAh lithium-ion pack built to replace the original TomTom MALAGA 4GC01 4K00.001 4K00.13 cell. It fits Rider, Rider 2, Rider 2nd Edition, Urban Rider and Urban Rider Pro GPS units. The 3.7V 11.10Wh rating matches the factory 6027A0050901 specification exactly.

Stable Output Low Heat

Li-ion chemistry delivers consistent voltage across the discharge curve with minimal self-heating during navigation use. The slim 68.50 x 18.50 x 18.50 mm profile fits the original compartment without forcing the casing. No active cooling is required and the cell runs silently.

Upgrade From Depleted Original

Riders whose stock pack no longer holds a full day charge gain reliable runtime with this 100% OEM-compatible unit. It is not suited for devices that require a different voltage or connector layout. Buyers needing higher capacity than 3000mAh or a different form factor should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the DS-CS-TMU01XL into my TomTom Rider 2, and what step is often missed?

Open the battery compartment, align the 68.50 x 18.50 x 18.50 mm pack with the contacts, and press until the latch clicks — many users forget to seat the connector fully before closing the cover.

What future upkeep will this 3000mAh Li-ion pack require?

The 3.7 V 11.10 Wh cell has no user-serviceable parts; when run-time drops noticeably, replace the whole unit with another Cameron Sino DS-CS-TMU01XL.

Which limit appears first during a long ride with the GPS on continuously?

The 3000 mAh capacity sets the runtime ceiling; once the charge is depleted the device powers off until recharged.
