Cameron Sino GPS Battery for Trimble and Nikon

This Cameron Sino DS-CS-TRM310SL battery powers Trimble M3 and S8 total stations plus Nikon DTM and NPL series instruments. It replaces the BC-65 pack and delivers 7.2V 3500mAh capacity in a black Ni-MH housing. Survey crews who need a direct-fit replacement for field equipment will find it compatible with the listed models.

Ni-MH Chemistry Limits for Field Use

Nickel-metal hydride cells self-discharge faster than lithium types so charge before each job. Capacity drops in freezing temperatures and the pack has no built-in fuel gauge. Users who need weeks of shelf life or sub-zero reliability should plan for extra packs or a different chemistry.

3.5 Ah Capacity Decides Runtime

The 3.5 Ah rating sets how long a total station runs between charges. If your daily workflow exceeds that energy budget you will need spare batteries or a charging strategy. Buyers who need longer runtime per pack cannot meet that need with this model.

Questions about this item

Which capacity should I pick for my Trimble M3 or Nikon DTM-350?

This pack is the single 7.2 V 3500 mAh Ni-MH version; no other capacity is offered for the listed models.

What does the 3500 mAh rating mean when the battery is powering a total station?

The 25.20 Wh energy rating shows how much work the pack can deliver; actual run-time depends on the instrument's power draw.

How does the BC-65 interface affect charging and use?

The battery matches the BC-65 form factor, so it fits the original charger and the device's battery compartment without adapters.
