40V 2 Ah replacement for Worx tools

This lithium-ion pack delivers 40.0 volts and 2000 mAh capacity for compatible Worx outdoor equipment. It fits models WG168E, WG268E, WG368E, WG568E, WG770E and WG776. The black housing uses Panasonic or Sanyo cells rated at 80.00 Wh. It is a direct substitute for OEM part WA3536.

Runtime and voltage limits

The 40 V platform fixes the maximum voltage, so the pack cannot power tools built for other voltages. Capacity of 2 Ah defines the total charge available; demanding applications will drain it faster than lighter tasks. Cold temperatures can reduce usable capacity below the rated figure. No higher-capacity version is described in the data.

Simple click-in fitting

The battery slides onto the tool’s rail until the latch engages, matching the original WA3536 footprint of 132.70 x 85.30 x 79.10 mm. Misalignment or debris in the rails is the usual cause of a loose connection. Contacts should be clean and dry before each use. No tools or firmware steps are required.

Questions about this item

Which capacity should I pick for my Worx 40 V tool?

This pack is the 2000 mAh, 80.00 Wh version; it fits WG168E, WG268E, WG368E, WG568E, WG770E, WG776 and replaces WA3536.

What does the 80.00 Wh rating mean when I am using the tool?

It stores 80.00 watt-hours, so a tool drawing 80 W will run for roughly one hour on a full charge.

What interface does the battery use and what does it limit?

It slides onto the Worx 40 V rail; the mechanical key and voltage lock prevent use on any other voltage platform.
