Cameron & Co GPS Battery 14.8V 2000mAh

This 14.8V 2000mAh lithium-ion pack powers Fujikura 12S, FSM-12R and FSM-12S fusion splicers. It replaces the original BTR-10 and BTR-10-AC cells. Field technicians who need a direct-fit replacement for daily splicing work will find it matches the factory form factor.

Sustained load behaviour

The 29.60Wh rating supports extended splicing sessions without a sharp voltage drop. Li-ion chemistry keeps output stable across the discharge curve. Users who run continuous multi-core alignments can expect consistent performance until the pack is depleted.

Installation and common issues

The pack measures 105.00 x 68.34 x 11.00 mm and slides into the splicer battery bay without tools. Alignment tabs on the housing prevent reverse insertion. Buyers who need a higher-capacity pack for all-day operation without recharging should note this unit stays at 2000mAh.

Questions about this item

Does the 14.8V 2000mAh Li-ion pack generate noticeable heat during a full day of splicing?

What must I already own for this battery to power my equipment?

A Fujikura 12S Fusion Splicer (FSM-12R, FSM-12S or S015527) that accepts BTR-10 or BTR-10-AC packs.

Will the 105.00 x 68.34 x 11.00 mm form factor fit the older BTR-10 compartment on my FSM-12R?

Yes, the dimensions match the original BTR-10 and BTR-10-AC batteries exactly.
