Compatible GPS Battery for Pentax and Nikon Devices

This replacement battery fits Pentax R100, R200, R300 and R800 series units as well as Nikon Retinomax I and II models. It matches original part numbers BP02C, MB02, 24515 and DDB30002 for direct OEM compatibility. Surveyors and technicians can install it without adapters or modifications.

Capacity and Runtime Headroom

The Ni-MH pack delivers 6.0V and 2100mAh for a total of 12.60Wh of energy. That capacity supports extended field sessions on compatible auto-refractors and GPS units. Runtime decreases in cold conditions or when the device drives a bright display continuously.

Ni-MH Chemistry Requires Proper Charging

The pack uses nickel-metal hydride cells rated at 2.1Ah and must be charged with a compatible Ni-MH charger. Using a lithium or lead-acid charger will damage the battery and void safe operation. Buyers needing a different voltage or chemistry should select another model.

Questions about this item

Will this 6.0 V 2100 mAh Ni-MH pack fit my Pentax R-300X without modification?

Yes — it replaces the original BP02C or MB02 cell used in the R-300X and matches the 6.0 V 2.1 Ah specification exactly.

How can I confirm the battery is delivering its rated capacity after the first charge?

A full charge should power the device for the same runtime as the original 2100 mAh pack; if runtime is noticeably shorter, the cells may need a few cycles to reach full capacity.

Does the package include a charger or only the black battery unit?

Only the single 89.17 × 47.25 × 22.06 mm black Ni-MH battery is supplied; a compatible 6.0 V charger must be purchased separately.
