It matches the 3.7 V, 1100 mAh specification and the 54.92 x 34.10 x 5.56 mm form factor. The pack includes a decoded chip so the GPS recognises it like the factory battery. Physical and electrical limits

The cell delivers 4.07 Wh at 3.70 volts and weighs 21.9 g. Its lithium-ion chemistry requires a charger that respects the 3.7 V nominal voltage; using an unregulated or higher-voltage adapter can shorten cycle life. The pack carries over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short-circuit protection circuits. No other electrical interface or communication protocol is present.

Upgrade considerations

This unit restores runtime to a navigator whose original battery no longer holds a charge. It does not increase capacity beyond the 1100 mAh rating, so users needing longer operation between charges will not gain extra hours. The replacement is worthwhile when the GPS powers off early or fails to start on battery alone. It is not a higher-capacity alternative.
