Replacement Battery for HME Base Stations

This 2000mAh nickel-zinc pack replaces the original power source in HME MB100, MB300ES and Pro 850 intercoms as well as WS200 speaker stations. It matches the 7.20 V specification and the 90.70 x 59.20 x 16.10 mm form factor so the battery slides into the existing compartment without modification. Upgrading from a Worn Original Cell

Limits of Nickel-Zinc Chemistry

Nickel-zinc cells deliver the rated voltage in a smaller footprint than nickel-metal-hydride alternatives, but they self-discharge faster during long storage. The chemistry is rated for operation up to 60 °C (140 °F); sustained exposure above this temperature accelerates capacity loss. The protection circuit disconnects the pack if voltage or current exceeds safe thresholds, which can interrupt a transmission if the load spikes. Users needing multi-day standby without recharging should plan for more frequent top-ups than with lithium-based packs.
