Replacement for 2GIG GC3 Panels

This lithium-polymer battery replaces the original power cell in 2GIG GC3, GC3e and SP1-GC3 alarm panels. It delivers a nominal 3.7 V and 3800 mAh capacity in the same 89.10 x 37.50 x 8.00 mm form factor. Installers and system owners use it to restore backup runtime when the factory pack no longer holds a charge.

Voltage and chemistry constraints

The pack operates at a fixed 3.7 V lithium-polymer chemistry, so it cannot be used in systems that require a different nominal voltage or a user-replaceable AA/AAA format. The integrated protection circuit guards against over-charge, over-discharge and short-circuit, but the pack has no external charger contacts and must be charged by the panel itself. Builders needing hot-swap capability or a higher-watt-hour rating will not be served by this cell.

3800 mAh capacity match

The single specification that decides fit is the 3800 mAh rating, which must match the original part numbers 10-000014-001 and 823990. If the panel’s label shows a different milliamp-hour value or a different physical footprint, this battery will not provide the correct runtime or mechanical fit.
