Compatible 40 V battery for cordless tools

This Cameron Sino lithium-ion pack delivers 40 volts and 2000 mAh capacity, matching the original LBX1540, LBX2040 and LBXR36 specifications. It fits a wide range of 40 V MAX chainsaws, hedge trimmers and mowers including models such as CM1640, CM2040, LHT2436B and LST540. The fully decoded chip communicates with the tool exactly as the factory unit does.

For owners of listed 40 V MAX equipment

Users with any of the listed part numbers can replace a worn pack without modification. Buyers whose tools use a different voltage platform or a different physical pack format should look elsewhere, as this unit only suits the models and part numbers shown in the compatibility list.

2000 mAh capacity at 40 volts

The single figure that decides fit is the 2000 mAh / 80 Wh rating combined with the 40 V nominal voltage. If your original battery shows the same capacity and voltage and shares the LBX1540, LBX2040 or LBXR36 part number, this pack will slot in and run.

Questions about this item

How do I install the LBXR36 battery in my LST136 hedge trimmer and what is the step users often miss?

Slide the LBXR36 pack into the tool until the latch clicks, then verify the connector is fully seated; the step often missed is confirming that the decoded chip communicates with the tool before starting work.

What maintenance will this 2000mAh 40V lithium-ion pack need over its life?

Perform two to three full charge and discharge cycles when new, store below 60 °C, avoid low-quality third-party chargers, and never disassemble or expose the pack to fire or water.

Which limit appears first during extended cutting with the 80Wh LBX1540 battery?

The over-discharge protection circuit will cut power once the cell voltage drops to its safety threshold, stopping the tool before the pack is damaged.
