Replacement Battery for Andis Cordless Envy Li

The Cameron Sino 8224 is a lithium-ion cell built to match the original Andis FBL-16 pack used in Cordless Envy Li hair clippers. It delivers 3.7 volts and a rated capacity of 2600mAh for cordless cutting sessions. A decoded chip inside communicates with the clipper exactly like the factory unit. The pack measures 66.30 by 18.70 by 18.70 millimetres and weighs 73.0 grams.

2600mAh Capacity and Runtime Limits

At 9.62Wh the cell powers a full grooming routine on a single charge, but runtime falls off during heavy commercial use or when the clipper runs at maximum speed. After two or three complete charge cycles the pack reaches its rated capacity. It is not designed for wet environments and offers no water resistance. Users who need all-day operation without recharging will find the capacity limiting.

Protection Circuit and Packaging Extras

The built-in circuit guards against overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short circuits to extend service life. Shock-absorbing foam in the box protects the cell during transit. Installation videos are available online, though no tools or connectors are included. The manufacturer provides email support with a 24-hour response target and backs the pack with a 12-month warranty period.

Questions about this item

Will the 66.30 x 18.70 x 18.70 mm dimensions fit the battery compartment of my Andis Cordless Envy Li clipper?

The replacement matches the original FBL-16 footprint exactly at 66.30 x 18.70 x 18.70 mm so it seats without modification.

How can I confirm the 3.7 V 2600 mAh cell is delivering full capacity after installation?

Run two or three full charge and discharge cycles; the clipper should then hold its rated runtime and the battery indicator will track normally.

Does the package include a charging adapter or only the 73.0 g lithium-ion cell?

Only the single 1.0 count battery with its decoded chip and protective foam is supplied; the clipper’s original charger is used for recharging.
