Cameron Sino 1900mAh Replacement Battery

The Cameron Sino battery replaces the original Garmin Approach G80 power pack with a 1900mAh, 3.8V lithium-ion cell rated at 7.22Wh. It matches the factory dimensions of 43.90 x 48.50 x 6.40mm and weighs 29.4g. A fully decoded chip ensures the GPS navigator recognises the pack and reports capacity correctly.

Suits Approach G80 owners only

This pack fits the Approach G80 handheld GPS navigator using part number 361-00124-00. Buyers with any other Garmin model or a different part number should look elsewhere. The battery is not user-serviceable beyond simple connector insertion and is not intended for devices requiring a different voltage or form factor.

3.8V 1900mAh capacity confirms compatibility

The single specification that decides fit is the 3.8V, 1900mAh rating combined with the exact 43.90 x 48.50 x 6.40mm footprint. If the original battery shows the same voltage, capacity and physical size, this Cameron Sino unit will work as a direct replacement.

Questions about this item

Will the 43.90 x 48.50 x 6.40 mm battery fit inside the Garmin Approach G80?

Yes, those are the exact dimensions of the original 361-00124-00 pack, so it slots into the G80 battery compartment without modification.

What is the installation step people most often miss when fitting this 3.8 V pack?

Fully seat the connector until it clicks; a loose connection prevents the decoded chip from communicating with the G80.

After how many charge cycles does the 1900 mAh cell reach full capacity?

The manufacturer states two or three complete charge-and-discharge cycles before the battery delivers its rated 7.22 Wh performance.
