Direct replacement for Globalstar GPS units

This Cameron Sino battery replaces the original pack in Globalstar BT-300 and BT-308 Bluetooth GPS receivers. It matches the factory voltage of 3.7 V and fits the exact 52.02 x 35.09 x 5.26 mm footprint. The fully decoded chip communicates with the device the same way as the original cell.

1000 mAh capacity for field navigation

Rated at 1000 mAh and 3.70 Wh, the cell powers a GPS receiver through a typical day of waypoint logging and track recording. Continuous high-brightness screen use or constant Bluetooth streaming will drain the pack faster, so carry a spare for multi-day expeditions.

Protected cell with shock-absorbing packaging

The pack includes overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short-circuit protection circuits for safer operation. A foam insert inside the box cushions the 20.8 g battery during transit, reducing the risk of physical damage before installation.

Questions about this item

Will this 52.02 x 35.09 x 5.26 mm battery fit the same compartment as the original Globalstar BT-300 pack?

Yes, the replacement matches the original dimensions of 52.02 x 35.09 x 5.26 mm and weighs 20.8 g, so it seats in the existing compartment without modification.

How do I confirm the new 1000 mAh cell is holding charge correctly after the first few cycles?

After 2 or 3 full charge and discharge cycles the battery reaches its rated 1000 mAh / 3.70 Wh capacity; you should see the GPS receiver run for its normal operating time between charges.

Does the package include a charger or only the 3.7 V battery itself?

Only the single rechargeable battery is supplied; a compatible charger for the Globalstar BT-300 or BT-308 must be sourced separately.
