Replacement battery for Fluke instruments

This nickel-zinc pack delivers 3000mAh at 4.8V and fits the Fluke 123, 123S, 43, 43B and Scopemeter 120 when the original part number is B11483 or BP120MH. It is built to the same dimensions and connector layout as the factory cell. The fully decoded chip communicates with the host device exactly like the original battery. Technicians carrying out equipment survey and test work can swap it in without tools.

Capacity and runtime

Rated at 3000mAh and 14.40Wh, the cell powers a typical measurement session for several hours before recharge is needed. Capacity drops off when the analyser drives its display and acquisition hardware at maximum rate for extended periods. Users running continuous logging or high-sample-rate captures will see shorter run times and should plan for a spare pack. The battery is not suited for applications that demand all-day operation without access to a charger.

Thermals and power behaviour

Normal charging and discharging stay within the safe temperature window defined by the protection circuitry. Over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short-circuit guards prevent excessive heat build-up during regular use. The pack does not generate audible noise and draws only the current required by the connected instrument. Storage above 60 °C is discouraged to preserve cycle life.
