Compatible Replacement Battery

This Cameron Sino battery replaces the Columbia Omni-Heat pack with part number 036482-001. It is built for owners of Columbia heated gear who need a direct swap for the original power source. The unit is new and rechargeable, supplied as a single cell.

Capacity and Voltage

The pack delivers 1700mAh at 3.7V for 6.29Wh of energy. That capacity figure is the single spec that confirms the battery will match the runtime of the factory unit. No other capacity or voltage is offered for this model.

Straightforward Installation

The battery uses the original connector and a fully decoded chip so the device recognises it immediately. Many users follow online videos and finish the swap in minutes. The main risk is seating the connector loosely, which can prevent the heated garment from powering on.

Questions about this item

How long will the 1700mAh capacity actually run my Columbia Omni-Heat jacket?

Runtime depends on the heat setting used; the 1700mAh cell at 3.7V stores 6.29Wh, so higher settings drain it faster while lower settings extend the time between charges.

What does the 3.7V rating mean for charging and compatibility?

The 3.7V nominal voltage matches the original Columbia 036482-001 pack, so the jacket's built-in charger and protection circuit will recognise and charge it correctly without modification.

Will the 52.24 x 36.12 x 10.48mm pack fit the battery pocket on my Omni-Heat gear?

Those dimensions match the OEM battery, so it slides into the same compartment and the connector aligns with the jacket's socket for a direct replacement.
