Cameron Sino Replacement Battery 2000mAh 1.2V for Braun Cruzer1 TriControl 4745 4775 5713 5714

Compatible shaver models

This nickel-zinc replacement battery fits Braun Cruzer1, Cruzer2, Cruzer3 and Cruzer4 shavers as well as TriControl 4740, 4745, 4775, 5713, 5714, Smart Control3 5791 and 5796. The pack contains two cells measuring 54.10 by 14.20 by 14.20 millimetres and weighing 53.0 grams in total. A fully decoded chip ensures the same communication as the original pack.

Capacity and headroom

Rated at 2000 milliampere-hours and 2.4 watt-hours, the cell delivers enough energy for multiple shaves before recharging. At 1.2 volts nominal voltage it matches the original specification, so runtime is equivalent to a fresh factory pack. The chemistry provides stable output until the protection circuit cuts off at deep discharge.

Nickel-zinc practical limits

Nickel-zinc cells self-discharge faster than nickel-metal-hydride types, so a shaver left unused for weeks may need a top-up before the next shave. The integrated protection guards against overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short circuits, but the pack must not be stored above 60 degrees Celsius or 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Users who need a higher-capacity or lithium-based alternative cannot use this model.
