Campbell 1-1/2" FNPT Check Valve
The Campbell CV-6TLF is a low-lead brass spring check valve designed for residential and light commercial plumbing systems. It prevents backflow in potable water lines where lead-free materials are required by code.
25 gpm capacity with 0.5 psi cracking pressure
Rated for a maximum flow of 25 gpm, the valve opens with a minimal 0.5 psi cracking pressure to maintain efficient water delivery. It handles water pressures up to 200 psi and operating temperatures between 35 and 158 degrees Fahrenheit, but is not rated for steam service.
NBR seal and stainless steel spring internals
The valve uses an NBR seal and a stainless steel spring paired with a bronze seat to resist corrosion and wear. These materials support reliable sealing and long service life in horizontal or vertical mounting orientations without additional accessories.

Questions about this item
Will the 1-1/2" FNPT threads on this Campbell check valve match the 1-1/2" brass nipples I already have in my bath plumbing?
Yes, the valve uses 1-1/2" FNPT x FNPT connections, so it threads directly onto standard 1-1/2" male pipe threads without adapters.
How can I confirm the spring-loaded mechanism is sealing properly after I install the valve?
With supply pressure applied, the valve should remain closed until pressure exceeds the 0.5 psi cracking point, then open to allow flow up to 25 gpm; no flow should pass when downstream pressure is higher.
Does the box include any thread sealant, gaskets or mounting brackets, or do I need to buy those separately?
The valve ships as the brass body with its internal spring, NBR seal and bronze seat only; pipe thread sealant and any mounting hardware must be purchased separately.
