Travel-ready cotton vest

The CampCo Humvee Ranger Vest is a 100% cotton garment built for photographers and outdoor enthusiasts who need quick access to gear while keeping hands free. Adjustable side tabs and a generous cut accommodate layered clothing and the vest’s own multi-pocket storage design. A mesh back panel improves airflow during extended wear in warm conditions. The hideaway drawstring hood stows inside the stand-up collar for sudden weather changes.

Sustained comfort and storage access

The lightweight cotton construction and mesh ventilation maintain breathability during long days of hiking, camping or shooting sessions. Multiple pockets including a zippered wallet pocket and a large interior document pocket keep essentials organised and secure without shifting during movement. Side-entry hand pockets allow rapid retrieval of small items while the vest remains fully fastened. The durable fabric resists abrasion from repeated outdoor use.

Fit and layering considerations

Check that the Medium size aligns with your torso measurements and accounts for any base or mid-layers you plan to wear underneath. Verify the adjustable side tabs provide enough range to cinch the vest securely when fully loaded with equipment. Ensure the stand-up collar and stowed hood do not interfere with backpack straps or neck gaiters you regularly use. Confirm the pocket layout matches the specific accessories you intend to carry daily.

Questions about this item

Will the 100% cotton fabric and mesh back keep me cool during all-day wear?

The vest uses 100% cotton with a mesh back panel for ventilation, plus a stand-up collar with a hideaway drawstring hood for sudden weather changes.

What must I already have for the adjustable side tabs to function properly?

The side tabs are built into the vest itself, so no extra parts are needed; they simply tighten or loosen the fit around your torso.

Can I still reach my existing camera bag straps while wearing this vest?

Side-entry hand pockets and a roomy cut let you access gear underneath, and the generous sizing accounts for layered clothing or straps.
