Solo Backpacking Shelter

The camppal MT051 is a one-person tent built for solo hikers and campers who need a lightweight, weather-ready shelter. It weighs 1.23 kilograms and packs into a generously sized carry bag for easy transport on the trail.

Waterproof Standard and Wind Stability

The outer tent uses a 3500-4000mm water-resistance rating with seam taping on zippers, velcro wraps and bottom corners to block heavy rain. Aluminium poles and rip-stop fabric hold shape in strong wind, and the tent meets the CPAI-84 fire-retardant standard.

Extended 8.2ft Interior Length

The inner tent measures 8.2ft long by 2.95ft wide and 2.95ft high, while the outer tent adds a 1.31ft vestibule for gear storage. This length accommodates taller sleepers and keeps backpacks, boots and clothing inside the protected area.

Questions about this item

Which size should I pick for one person?

This model is offered as a single 1-person version with an 8.2 ft inner length, 2.95 ft width and 2.95 ft height, plus a 1.31 ft vestibule extension on the outer tent.

What does the 3500-4000 mm water resistance mean in use?

The outer tent is rated at 3500 mm hydrostatic head with taped seams on the zipper, Velcro wraps and four bottom corners, so it keeps water out even in heavy rain.

How does the pole system perform in strong wind?

A single aluminium ridge pole and rip-stop polyester fabric give a stable structure that resists tearing and holds shape during storms.
