Dedicated AU-EVA1 Rain Cover

The camRade wetSuit is a custom-fit, water-resistant cover designed exclusively for the Panasonic AU-EVA1 cinema camera. It wraps the body, viewfinder, microphone and supplied accessories in black soft fabric to shield the kit from rain and wind during outdoor shoots. The cover ships inside a waterproof zippered pouch for compact storage and transport when not in use.

Silent Fabric With Ventilation

The near-silent material minimises unwanted audio artefacts caused by wind and rain striking the camera housing. Openings in the cover allow hot air to escape, reducing the chance of the camera overheating during extended recording sessions. Clear vinyl windows maintain visibility of menus, audio input selectors and other controls without removing the cover.

Tripod-Compatible Bottom Access

Zippers along the bottom edge let the cover open partially so the camera can be mounted on a tripod or rig while staying protected. The viewfinder monitor remains fully covered by fabric and a vinyl window to prevent water ingress during operation. The cover cannot accommodate bulky external recorders, large matte boxes or battery plates that extend beyond the AU-EVA1's native profile.
