Extended Desk Coverage

The Canjoy AN1179 is an XXL mouse pad measuring 31.5 by 15.7 inches. Its dimensions accommodate a full-sized keyboard and mouse together, creating a unified surface for gaming or office tasks. The pad also functions as a desk protector, writing platform or laptop mat. Buyers who need a compact pad for a small desk or a minimal mouse-only area will find this size excessive.

Fabric Surface Limits

The superfine fabric top layer provides a smooth glide for optical and laser sensors, supporting fast and accurate tracking. A water-resistant coating allows cleaning with a damp cloth or a full wash without deformation. The surface is not a hard plastic or hybrid pad, so users who prefer a rigid, low-friction feel for competitive flick shots may want a different material.

Edge Durability Decider

Double-stitched edges protect the 3 mm thick pad from wear, fraying and deformation over long-term use. The dense textured natural rubber base grips the desk firmly, preventing unwanted movement during intense sessions. If stitched perimeter reinforcement is not a priority, a basic heat-sealed edge pad would cost less.

Questions about this item

What size does the AN1179 come in?

The AN1179 measures 31.5 by 15.7 inches (900 by 400 mm) with a 0.03 in thickness, covering a full keyboard and mouse area.

How does the 0.03 in thickness feel during gaming?

At 3 mm thick the pad stays low-profile while the stitched edges and rubber base keep it flat, so the mouse glides smoothly without the pad bunching.

Does the rubber base work on glass desks?

The natural rubber base uses a dense textured pattern that grips firmly on most hard surfaces, including glass, keeping the pad from sliding during fast swipes.
