What it is

The CANMOV Cot 2022 is a lightweight folding bed designed for outdoor travellers who need a quick, elevated sleep surface. It supports up to 330 lbs while weighing only 6.5 lbs, making it practical for campers, motorcyclists and hikers who move camp frequently.

Build and daily use

An aircraft-grade aluminum alloy frame and tear-resistant nylon fabric create a stable platform that locks taut with a lever mechanism. Four legs with wide brackets and eight anti-skid rubber feet grip uneven ground, while the 8.1-inch height keeps sleepers off cold or damp terrain and leaves storage space underneath.

Deciding specification

The packed size of 17x7x6 inches determines whether the cot fits inside your existing pack or pannier. Buyers who need a smaller folded footprint or a lower overall weight for ultra-light trips will find this model too bulky.

Questions about this item

What weight does the 2022 cot's lever-lock frame support in use?

The aircraft-grade aluminum frame and tear-resistant nylon fabric are engineered to hold up to 330 lbs when the legs are locked and the eight anti-skid feet are on stable ground.

What are the packed and deployed dimensions for the 75.6 x 27.6 x 8.1 inch cot?

It folds into a 17 x 7 x 6 inch carry bag and expands to a 75.6 L x 27.6 W x 8.1 H inch sleep surface with 8.1 inches of ground clearance.

How do you engage the lever-lock on each leg without pinching fingers?

Unfold the pre-assembled frame, then press down on the extended lever — the leg doubles as a handle — until you hear a secure click confirming the lock is seated.
