Exchange Roller Kit for DR-5010C Scanner

This Canon 0434B002AA kit replaces worn rollers on the DR-5010C high-speed document scanner. It is intended for offices and service teams that need to maintain consistent paper feeding. The part is supplied new and matches the original manufacturer specification. Installation restores the scanner's ability to handle high daily volumes.

Kit Contents and Effect on Operation

The package contains the exchange roller assembly required for the DR-5010C and also listed as compatible with the DR-6030C model. Fitting the kit renews the contact surfaces that grip and transport each sheet through the feed path. Regular replacement prevents misfeeds, double feeds and paper jams that interrupt batch scanning jobs. No additional tools or software are included or required.

250000 Page Duty Cycle

The rollers are rated for a duty cycle of 250000 pages before the next exchange is recommended. This figure determines the maintenance interval for environments that scan continuously throughout the day. Teams tracking page counts can schedule replacements to avoid unplanned downtime. The rating applies specifically to the DR-5010C and DR-6030C scanner series.

Questions about this item

When should the 0434B002AA exchange roller kit be replaced on the DR-5010C?

The kit is rated for a 250000 page duty cycle, so plan replacement once the scanner approaches that volume.

What limits continuous scanning on the DR-5010C with this roller kit?

The 250000 page duty cycle is the first limit; rollers wear past that point and feed reliability drops.

Does the 0.4 kg roller kit add noticeable heat or noise during all-day scanning?

The rollers are passive mechanical parts; they add no heat or noise beyond the scanner's own operation.
